This email dialog is with a parent of an autistic child. It illustratates how collateral issues surface when an energetic therapy is used.
- In this case a longstanding issue of stomach acid depletion, aggravated by use of drugs to suppress stomach acid. In this case, the very depleted acid enabled pathogen bloom, which created toxins, which in turn caused vomiting.
- These blooms, usually of yeast-like organisms, cause gas bubbles which carry too-weak acid into the esophagus causing irritation.
- On one hand treatment reduces the symptoms by making the acid too weak to cause irritation, on the other, it fully disables the acid from its digestive roles, including killing the bugs that make the bubbles.
The issue reflects misunderstanding of the digestive process, by both the parent, and the physician who prescribed a stomach acid inhibitor to the autistic child for "heartburn".
The dialogue illustrates indirect cause/effect connection between energy therapy, and a toxic process.
Question-1:
I have a son with autism and had a live blood analysis done on him. A lot of parasites and there seems to be Lyme too. I know --Deleted-- and she has me on a protocol along with --Deleted both are chiropractors. We have been doing the PEMF treatment and my son has been throwing up for 5 weeks now because it seems to be ridding him of toxins. How long will this keep happening to him while doing this treatment. I really need some assistance with helping my son.
Answer-1:
Vomiting is part of a detox response. Is there black or dark material in the vomit?
- Don't let him get dehydrated, pedialyte is a good choice, or mix 1/4 tsp of sea salt in his water.
- Don't push too hard. Give him a day or two to normalize, stop vomiting, between treatments
Question-2:
I tell people he is sick from this treatment and they look at me like I am crazy. Is this common in autism?
Answer:
No. It is not common. No, you are probably not crazy. I have never seen this kind of response. PEMF by itself, does not tend to cause this to happen.
It does trigger detox, at cellular and other levels which can either:
- Overwhelm downstream detox systems
- Deplete detoxification nutrients.
The symptoms indicate that detox is occuring, and that there is probable metabolic deficiency which illustrates a greater vulnerability, resulting in triggering the vomit reflex.
You did not answer my question… Is there dark material in the vomit?
- If yes, it is a deep detoxification reaction from the liver and gall bladder.
- If no… The response indicates a probable combination of deplete stomach acid resulting from stress related chloride depletion. See Stress Detox, Autism Cascade for a suggested explanation.
I urge you try Betaine-HCL to increase stomach acid. Long term depletion enables pathogens to survive in the stomach. The pathogens produce toxins which trigger the vomit reflex. I have used 10 Betaine with my 6 year old to quench the stomach flu in 45 minutes.
Question-3:
I have not notice anything black when he throws up. It smells toxic sometimes. He has had reflux since he was a baby but takes prevacid for that. The vomiting started when the treatment on PEMF started. There is black pieces in his detox foot bath that we do too to treat him. He does have lyme and parasites that he has tested positive for in his blood and we had a live blood analysis done.
I researched on line that when Lyme dies it goes into the system and becomes toxic and makes you feel flu like.
--Doctors Name Deleted-- said the PEMF treats the lyme and this could be why he is so sick after a PEMF treatment. I appreciate any assistance in helping my son and I just want to make sure we are doing the right things.
Answer:
The Prevacid reduces stomach acid. In this case low enough to enable the stomach bugs to really thrive.
>Here is description Depleted Stomach Acid, and instructions for how to address it.
Yeast an other natural organisms make gas bubbles in the stomach. The bubbles carry weak acid up the esophagus and cause irritation called heartburn, or acid reflux. The weak acid is strong enough to irritate, but not strong enough to kill the bugs.
With strong stomach acid, the bugs die, and there is no gas, and no irritation. This is why people with healthy digestion do not get heartburn. Healthy stomach acid is very strong, with a pH of 2 or less.
In his case, the probable issue is that the even lower acid enables the bugs to thrive so much that they are creating enough other toxin to trigger the vomit reflex.
He has a stomach bug that thrives in a low acid environment. In all cases, the best answer is to fix the problem, by increasing stomach acid to proper levels, so the bugs are naturally eliminated. The condition is called hypochlorhydria.
Question:
He has been belching a lot. I stop the prevacid and put him on the bentaine hcl? He does not speak well. How much do I give him to know what is working or is there something else? Where do I get this from?
Answer:
This is a good start. You can get Betaine-HCL from any health food store.
I cannot answer your medical advice questions regarding use of any drug.
The belching results from yeast-like organisms, which ferments the food and produces carbon dioxide, which bubbles up, and comes out as a belch.
The yeast thrives because there is no stomach acid to kill it.
Since it is an organism this protocol may help:
- Gut Bug Protocol. I had forgotten that this protocol includes the Betaine-HCL. The other agents are Colloidal Silver and Grapefruit seed extract. These additional agents help with reducing the organism population which produces the gas bubbles and noxious agents which trigger the vomit reflex.
